Norse Retrievers specialize in the training of retrieving and flushing breeds for hunting and AKC Hunt Test competitions. We also train all breeds of dogs for obedience and behavior modification. Although we breed American dogs, Norse Retrievers is one of the few kennels that can train British Labs to do American style work. Our emphasis is on producing a dog that will be an asset to your family and your hunt. Norse Retrievers gets the owner and dog to work as a team!!!
The breeding program at Norse Retrievers is simple, produce puppies that have great working ability that are trainable and will be a part of the family. All of the stud dogs that we use are at least AKC Master Hunters, Qualified All Age, or Field Champions. Our females all have Hunt Test titles and hunt all fall in the Midwest. If a dog is not outstanding in the field or is not a joy to be with I DON'T breed it.
